Elias Daaboul is a filmmaker and photographer based in Dubai with ten years behind the camera. He runs Redux Studios, where the work ranges from documentary films and architectural stories to brand campaigns and music videos.

His clients include Nike, Vice, Saatchi, and Coca-Cola, to name a few, as well as documentary commissions from the United Nations Development Programme, UNICEF, and Amnesty International.

What drives him is people. He is drawn to the architects, street performers, and everyday characters who carry a story worth telling. His observational approach lets a subject's own voice shape the film rather than imposing one on them. His photographic work has been exhibited and published, drawing from travels and shoots across Beirut, New York, Amman, Tokyo, Morocco, Mexico, and beyond.

He has developed a portrait practice that goes beyond likeness, capturing the character and presence of artists, architects, musicians, and performers in a way that reveals something essential about who they are. Each portrait becomes a small study in humanity rather than a standard image.

Elias directs and shoots fiction and experimental short films that push beyond the constraints of conventional narrative. These projects explore form and feeling in ways that documentary alone cannot, treating the camera as a space for invention.

Alongside his commercial and creative work, Elias teaches beginner photography workshops and a cyanotype printing workshop, passing along the same curiosity that shapes his own projects.
